100 ton Crane for Vessel Manufacturing This project included design, fabrication, transport, installation, commission, and testing of 9 Heavy Duty Steel Handling cranes for a steel warehouse and handling company.
The crane in the photos is a 2 x 5 ton capacity CMAA Class E designed specifically for steel handling and has magnet capability.
It is fit with (2) custom GH built up 5 ton trolleys for continuous duty at a lifting speed of 30 feet per minute.
The crane also has winter provisions to allow for continued work in the extreme cold.
There are 7 cranes on order for their Vancouver facility and scheduled for delivery in the early part of 2014.
Their Calgary office has one CMAA Class F crane on order for their Calgary yard and is expected to be delivered in March 2014.
